Leveraging Earth's Energy

Humans used to spend the majority of their time in direct contact with the earth's surface, walking barefoot outside and sleeping on the ground. We have now become very disconnected from the natural world and the natural state that our body relies on.


Grounding or Earthing - What is it?

  • The earth's surface continuously maintains a negatively charged potential of electrons which has the capacity to balance out and stabilize the systems of the body.

  • When you bring your body into direct contact with the earth's surface, electrons are transferred and balanced/grounded between the earth and your body.

  • This helps to buffer against the build up of electrical interference from the high levels of exposure to Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) from devices - cell phones, wifi, microwave, etc.

  • Grounding the body allows negatively charged antioxidant electrons from the Earth to enter the body and neutralize positively charged free radicals at sites of inflammation


The Technique

  • Bring your skin into direct physical contact with the earth's surface

  • Barefoot walking (at least 30-40 minutes per day, ideally)

  • Connecting your hand to a tree

  • Using a device that brings earth energy into your home through a conductive device

  • Purchase footwear that allows for grounding to take place through the material
